The Acceptable Use Policy denotes safe, appropriate conduct and guidelines for the user of the available digital resources and devices. This policy serves as a document to cover the rules and regulations the school expects of its users. The school wants to actively engage the student by providing the digital world as a part of the overall learning process. However, in so doing, the school must demand acceptable behavior from the user and must protect the user. In addition, the school must have the support and consent of the parent/guardian. There is a need for safety and security as well as privacy. In order for a student to use the school’s digital resources, he or she, as well as a parent or guardian, must read the following guidelines and sign below:

* I will be responsible and respectful.

* I will protect the safety, security, and privacy of others and myself.

 

* I will use common sense,

* I will explore new ideas and new technology.

 

* I will take care of all devices and equipment,

* I will follow copyright laws.

 

* I will be held accountable for any misconduct.

* I will not use any false information.

 

* I will not violate any state or federal laws.

* I will not transmit viruses.

 

* I will not use the network for anything other than the related academic assignments.

 

* I will not harass or bully others, use inappropriate language, or make threats.

 

* I will not transmit or access inappropriate materials.

any violations.
